Project Spotlight: Wind Creek Chicago Southland

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is a destination built on contrast and drama, with every detail crafted to make a statement. SCB drew clear inspiration from historic casinos in Venice, creating an atmosphere rich with theatricality and layered elegance. The lower lobby and arrival spaces evoke a carved-quarry aesthetic, with textured stone forms giving way to jewel tones and sculptural lighting as you move upward.

Encore was proud to help bring this vision to life with flooring that echoed the property’s unique story.

  • Axminster brought depth and density, ideal for areas that demand plush durability underfoot.

  • ColorPoint offered vivid pattern and sculptural presence, perfectly complementing the emerald, gold, and sweeping curves that define the interiors.

  • Infinity allowed for seamless pattern transitions between corridors, gathering spaces, and guest rooms, helping maintain the flow of the design.

Chris Lynch, Encore’s sales lead for the project, shared her perspective:

“This project was about more than matching a palette. We wanted the flooring to amplify the sense of luxury while still feeling grounded and welcoming. Every product we specified was chosen to carry that balance through every space.”

Together, Encore and the project team honored the original vision of refined glamour and immersive hospitality, creating a setting that is luxurious, deliberate, and unforgettable.
