Building a New Bridge: Women Creating Their Own Roles in the Gaming Industry

On May 15, I’ll be moderating a panel discussion at the Women in Tribal Gaming Symposium called Building a New Bridge: New Roles for Women in Gaming. This session is especially close to my heart because it’s about more than climbing the ladder. It’s about reshaping the entire framework.

Together with three incredible panelists, we’ll explore how women across the gaming, legal, and construction industries are moving beyond traditional roles and building entirely new ones. These women aren’t just navigating the system. They’re redefining what leadership looks like from the inside out.

We’ll dive into the real stuff:

  • What does it look like to push through being underestimated?

  • How do we move from mentorship to true sponsorship, where we actively advocate for each other?

  • How can we lead with our identity, not despite it, but because of it?

As someone who’s spent my career bridging client experience, creative strategy, and product development, I know what it’s like to walk a nontraditional path. This panel isn’t about where we fit in. It’s about what we’re building next.

We’ll close with bold, honest advice from each speaker and a reminder I carry with me every day: the future of gaming isn’t being handed down. It’s being built by women who lift each other as they climb.

If that sounds like you, or who you want to become, I hope you’ll join us.
